Anyone for High Tea? Indulge in our Deluxe High Tea at the iconic Old Elephant House.
We’re rolling out our famous High Tea experience over morning and afternoon sessions on selected Sundays in August and October. With two delectable menus, complimented by unlimited luxury teas from Harney & Sons – the perfect way to connect over a cuppa.

In addition to High Tea, Auckland Zoo boasts lush gardens and sprawling tracks (including the Dinosaur Discovery Track), and of course is home to more than 130 species of animals to enjoy at your leisure all day long. Plus, every time you book with Auckland Zoo you're supporting our conservation efforts in Aotearoa New Zealand and around the world.

Getting there Te huarahi ki reira
If you’re driving the zoo is just a few minutes' drive from central Auckland. There is plenty of parking available on site. You can take a bus from central Auckland, with several routes stopping right outside the zoo. Alternatively, you can take the Western Line train to Morningside Station, which is about 30 minutes’ walk from the zoo.
