The musical, with lyrics by Tim Rice and music by Sir Andrew Lloyd Webber, offers a vibrant and energetic take on the tale of Joseph, his jealous brothers, and his journey from hardship to triumph.
With its catchy songs, dynamic choreography, and a unique blend of musical styles Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat has been a favorite for audiences of all ages for decades. This production will be performed by a cast of over 200 amazingly talented young performers from across Auckland.
It's a joyous, family-friendly production that showcases themes of resilience, forgiveness, and the power of dreams.

Getting there Te huarahi ki reira
The Aotea Centre is a short walk up Queen Street from Britomart station, and the Civic car park is conveniently located beside the venue if you’re driving.
Local tip He tīwhiri mō te rohe
Check out the sculpture of celebrated Kiwi opera singer Dame Kiri Te Kanawa which sits on Level 3 of the Aotea Centre. It was created by local artist Terry Stringer and unveiled by Dame Kiri Te Kanawa herself when the auditorium was named in her honour in 2019.
