Explore printmaking techniques to develop your own daydream landscape. Discover different ways to refine your images and create a unique, imagined world.
Fantasy maps
Follow your imagination and discover the world of cartography, or map-making! Become a builder of worlds, an explorer of lands and a map-maker of invented realms! Use old-school techniques and materials to create your own fantasy lands.
Vivid mosaics
Explore the ancient art of mosaic making! Add colour and fun to your garden by designing and making a bird bath to take home using upcycled materials and simple techniques.
Zany puppets
Reimagine everyday materials in fun and unexpected ways and create a family of puppets using socks, gloves and mixed materials.
Futuristic machines
Invent your own futuristic machine and build it out of recycled materials.

ESSENTIAL INFORMATION
The full-day programme is from 9am–3pm. Entry into the building will not be possible before 8:45 am and the children must be collected at 3pm.
These workshops are restricted to 7–12-year-olds. If it becomes apparent that the child is outside of this age range the parent will be contacted and asked to collect their child immediately.
Each workshop is limited to 16 children per day.
The cost is $80 (+booking fees) per child per day; $350 (+booking fees) per child for five days (week 1) or $280 (+booking fees) per child for four days (week 2). 10% discounts are available for members.
An emergency contact name and phone number for each child must be supplied.
The name and contact number of the person picking up each child must be supplied.
The Gallery must be advised before the programme of any special requirements that may impact a child’s participation.

BYO lunch and snacks. We ask that all food be nut free to ensure the comfort and safety of all participants.
Please bring a warm layer of clothing and a sun hat that is appropriate for outdoor weather, as breaks may take place outside the Gallery.
Wearing old clothing is strongly encouraged – we will use a mix of materials and supply aprons but cannot guarantee that clothes will remain unmarked.
