The Society Jazzmen, who are Bob (trombone/ vocals), Bert (double bass/ vocals), Owen (drums), Ron (piano), Bruce (sax) and Rick (trumpet), have performed at a variety of stages and places from trains and cruise ships to parades, outdoor festivals, and of course, stage concerts. Their shows are highly interactive as they love to involve their audiences in their performances.
The Society Jazzmen are now in their 54th year of playing and entertaining and they are looking forward to carrying on in the same vein as long as possible. Their concerts are guaranteed to have you clapping your hands, stamping your feet, and singing along.

Local tip He tīwhiri mō te rohe
Leave plenty of spare time in case there’s traffic on the motorway or around the Takapuna village. Even better – get dinner or a pre-show drink nearby so you can soak up the bustling beachfront vibe.
