On The Hunt Charters offer everything you could want to make your New Zealand fishing adventure perfect: stunning scenery, a local & experienced skipper, top of the line Daiwa fishing gear, all on board our custom built 2018 Surtees 2018 Gamefisher. We specialise in small groups, families or couples targeting in-season fish from snapper, kingfish, kahawai, john dory and many other species along the way.
So whether you are an experienced angler or never fished before, you can come aboard for a half day 4 hour trip or a full day charter, everyone is welcome! Our local and experienced Skipper will take you to the best fishing spots around the Hauraki Gulf, catering to your need, and at the end of the day, your fish will be cleaned, filleted and ready to eat at home.

Charters depart from Matiatia Wharf on Waiheke Island, which is a 40 minute ferry from the city centre.
