Falevai Flava is a collaborative art project created by mother and daughter Sulieti Fieme’a Burrows and Tui Emma Gillies. In 2014, they travelled to Tonga to work on a large scale ngatu (tapa) making project in Burrows’ home village of Falevai.

‘Dig It’ is an engaging construction themed event for kids, offering a variety of interactive activities encouraging youngsters to experiment and explore with various concepts, materials, and interactives. Kids will have the opportunity to operate the real thing with Doug the Digger.

Small Sculpture Prize 2018
The gallery is proud to present the Small Sculpture Prize 2018 in association with Bayleys Waiheke and Te Motu Vineyard.
This is a National Award for an original free-standing or wall sculpture up to 800mm in any dimension. It has a Premier Prize of $3000 and a Merit Prize of $1000.
