Popped in here a few weeks ago after seeing the good reviews on Zomato. We ordered the pork & fennel sausage and a toasted cheese sandwich (I think it either had mushroom or caramalized onion on it). Both were delicious but we waited around 40 minutes when the only people there were already eating their food. I'm not sure if this is normal here but when we were given the food there was no apology, which made it seem like it's normal to wait 40mins for 2 sandwiches. Like I say they were good but in my opinion also rather overpriced for what it is. I probably won't be back purely because of the waiting time and the price.
While doing a my solo city excursion around the city some time ago, I stopped here and ordered the only beverage you'll know I'll get. And my first initial thought about this is place was that it was going to be hella expensive. Actually it wasn't, the price was fairly reasonable and their hot chocolate was very nice. Simply pure and true. The person who served me at the time was very generous and kind, we managed to keep a convo ticking along so I actually lost track of the waiting time it took to make the beverage. I like simplicity of this particular cafe. The menu is just right there once and you enter the place, very simplistic and easy to read. I also like the colours used for the menus. I also like the stools and tables they use, it's like entering an product design studio but with food and drinks in it. Great cafe in the area.
Stopped by for lunch and grabbed a bacon and egg burger along with a hot chocolate. The hot chocolate was on the dark side but was still good since it wasn't very bitter. The burger was quite nice, nice bread filled with crispy bacon and egg. It wasn't too busy so we managed to get one of the few indoor tables but they do have outdoor seating as well.
