Don't let their small and humble looking interior fool you, their dishes really pack a tasty punch and value 🥊 Some of the highlights were the pan fried dumplings, sizzling plate beef, home made deep fried tofu, deep fried pork with sweet and sour sauce (chinese style), stir fry eggplant, potato and capsicum, spicy chicken and their epic candied kumara! Their home made tofu was sooo good! It was soft and full of flavour from their special sauce. The chinese style deep fried sweet and sour pork was quite different to the typical takeaway style ones covered in thick bright orange coloured sauce. This was like thin pork schnitzel with subtle sweet and sourness to it. I much preferred this chinese style version without the thick sauce. It was crispy and delectable without any stickiness. The eggplant dish is highly recommended! The sauce was like soy sauce base. The spicy chicken was delish with a nice strong spicy kick 🌶 Last but not least, that candied kumara was as epic as it looks! It was sweet and highly addictive. All 👍👍👍👍👍/5 This place should definitely be on the cheap eats list as most dishes are priced under $20! You can find parking around the back in near by residential streets. If you live over the bridge, they also have a restaurant in Albany on 📍 6/14 Corinthian Drive.
