Food was average. My fiancee ordered the steak which was tough. My ribs came out half warm, oily more than saucy, and were average compared to what I remember a few years ago. The meals are expensive and not worth the money. We left wishing we went to another restaurant. My advice is to go elsewhere.
Food was average and extremely pricey. Sauce on the ribs were good but ribs were chewy and 'not falling off the bone' . I wouldn't go back as there are so many more rib places around that give you your moneys worth.
I love the Lonestar. I’ve always loved the Lonestar. I suspect I always will love the Lonestar. The times I have visited recently the outside of the building has been under renovation. Inside is still the same warm inviting heart there always has been. The food is excellent here. I’ve been through all my favorites and the chef in charge of the fire does the place proud. The real stand out here is the service. Young people working hard dealing with people who have many and various demands in a hot noisy busy restaurant. Always courteous always smiling always professional. If I was ever on death row I’d want my last meal from the Lonestar.
