Been here quite a few times as well as the one in Auckland city, the both taste fine. Didn’t take a good photo of the dish as I cut the noodle before taking it. Ordered deep-fried prawn with chili sauce and this was amazing, first time having it and it was very pleasing. The seasoning was on point, not too spicy but quite less in quantity wise. That’s understandable tho since it’s a prawn and seasoned with some sauce that’s integrates a variety of ingredients. We also ordered jajangmyeon (noodles in black bean sauce), for those who don’t know, it consists of black soybean paste, diced pork and onions. Loved the jajangmyeon as well, definitely really hard to do bad on it. For first time eaters, you might not like it since it may not look appetizing with the black sauce, and also, it tastes kinda sweet. So if you’re expecting something savory, then this might not be your first choice. In summary, this is a good place to visit, quite busy often during dinner time. It’s set menu is definitely worth it, $36 for 1 choice of $19 meal + 2 choices of either jajangmyeon, spicy soup with noodle and seafood, or fried rice. By ordering this, you will save $6 from ordering it separately. Not the cheapest in Auckland but it’s definitely the only good one is Howick! Service: 4/5 polite staff here and quick service Food: 4/5 good portions and good pricing. The seafood noodle soup was very yummy and you get a good amount of seafood for the price. The xo fried rice was also nice and black bean noodles are really good!!
Pretty frequent to this spot. Always get the Tangsuyuk whenever we can’t decide to eat either Korean or Chinese. Spicy seafood noodles comes very generously.
