I discovered Windross through family about two years ago, and have been dining there regularly (at least once every two months) since. The service is fantastic - staff are always very friendly, take good care of us (and donβt check in too often as to not disturb) and make the effort to remember us. The food is always top notch and very well presented. The food is incredibly consistent and the portion sizes are just right. The location offers a stunning view, and the restaurant inside is laid out pretty well. Tables are not too close together and are always set beautifully. Keep up the fantastic work, I look forward to my next visit!
New Year's eve set menu. Entree seafood chowder and avocado prawn. Both tasted good even though the avocado prawn was colourful. 2 eye fillet steaks were cooked perfectly. MyΒ own comment would have beenΒ a little bit of carrot would haveΒ added a bit of colour. Dessert of the cassata was pronounced excellent and the tiramisu was lovely too. Service wonderful. I thought the portion size looked small but in realty, I couldn't have eaten another thing after finishing the menu.
