I can’t believe I’ve been living around the area for three years and never been to Calimero. This is such a hidden gem in the middle of St Heliers. Hidden in the residential area and close to the beach. You can either dine-in or call to takeaway, how convenient! There are so many flavours, and my favourite is Moscow. It has blue vein cheese, pears and walnuts. Interesting aye! I mean, if you like it, you like it! It’s quite the acquired taste. Nonetheless, totally worth a try!
This pizza joint was my jam! I judge a pizza by the quality of their pizza dough base. Loved their thin crust which was crispy and allowed for the toppings to shine through. No thick, doughy cardboard tasting base to be found here! They also do gluten free bases for extra $2.50 👍👍👍👍👍/5 The first pic is Prosciutto and was one of my favs! Simply made with loads of parma ham, fresh rocket and parmesan. 👌 My top fav was Moscow. Another simple yet unique flavours of blue vein cheese, pears, walnuts, napoletana and cheese. You either love it or hate blue cheese and I love it! Tangy, tartness with sweet nuttiness was match made in heaven 💕 Other flavours in pics: pizza bread, cheese bread, vegetarian, calimero, san francisco, bangkok, new delhi, new york. Bangkok is an interesting one. It's topped with thai green curry chicken, cashews and banana! 🍌 Apparently it's really good with a spicy kick. I'll go back and get a whole one to myself 😂 They make them on the spot when you order with fresh ingredients right in front of you. Only 10 minutes wait to cook in their stone pizza oven. Also it's located 5 mins drive up the road from St Heliers Beach so hit them up after some fun on the beach 🏖
The best pizzas in town! Delicious thin dough and plenty of ingredients. Very light and tasty! I will totally recommend it! I've done take away and the food is always ready on time.
