Harlan Pepper Food Co., Kingsland

I kind of go here out of necessity, as there’s nothing else within walking distance. Their coffees not great, and sometimes their staff forget there are customers around, swearing, having loud personal convos, smoking just near the door then coming straight inside to make coffee.... all eeek But their saving grace is their food, which is actually not too bad. I prefer their lunch. Their taco trio platter is especially good, as is their lamb salad and the calamari. It’s not terrible...... just not the most professional outfit in town

Great service nice latte yummy food nice location. Lots of sun in the mornings, next to uber office so parking might be a bit tricky if cafe car park is full. A lovely little cafe/lunch place hidden away from the hustle and bustle of Kingsland. I ordered a lamb salad, which was perfectly medium rare, with a curated accompaniment of flavours: beetroot, honeyed walnuts and feta -- along with a fresh salad. The coffee, a staple of any meal prior to dinner, was good, served in contrasting colourful mugs. The service was wonderful, with friendly and gregarious waiters.
