But when the world turns against balloons, everything changes. Sent to a distant city, Betsy moves in with her eccentric uncle, inventor Hercules Snark. There, relentless rain floods the streets and the city begins to sink.
Betsy Balloon is a lively staged reading with music and illustration, based on a story by 2026 Honoured Writer Bill Manhire.
