Jump inside the worlds of your favourite Dav Pilkey book series in this fun-filled session featuring a visual presentation and live drawing by Dav Pilkey, plus trivia, special prizes, giveaways and more!
The event will be followed by a photo opportunity with Dav Pilkey. Attendees are encouraged to power up and dress up as Captain Underpants, Dog Man, Cat Kid, or your favourite Dav Pilkey book and join our Character Parade: details on page 54.

Check out the sculpture of celebrated Kiwi opera singer Dame Kiri Te Kanawa which sits on Level 3 of the Aotea Centre. It was created by local artist Terry Stringer and unveiled by Dame Kiri Te Kanawa herself when the auditorium was named in her honour in 2019.

The Aotea Centre is a short walk up Queen Street from Waitematā Station, and the Civic car park is conveniently located beside the venue if you’re driving.
