The Black Ferns return to Tāmaki Makaurau in August for a highly anticipated O’Reilly Cup Test against Australia.
As part of a massive year for women’s international rugby, this fixture gives fans the chance to see their World Cup heroes and rising stars back in action on home turf. The Auckland Test is the only one being played in the region in 2026.
The team will be looking to build momentum ahead of their WXV Global Series campaign and continue their strong rivalry with Australia as they aim to retain the O’Reilly Cup presented by Bupa.

When big events are on at the stadium, the surrounding streets can become heavy with traffic. If you’re arranging to be picked up or dropped off, it’s best to identify a meeting point a few blocks away from the main entrances.

Go Media Stadium is a 10-15 minute walk from Penrose train station which is on the Onehunga and Southern Line. It’s easily accessible from the motorway and is about 15 minutes drive from the central city.
