Danny Ocean’s life began in Caracas, Venezuela, where he was born. He spent his childhood in different Caribbean and African countries due to his parents’ careers. His return to Caracas sparked his interest in music, especially electronic music, and African rhythms. After moving to Miami, he discovered his songwriting skills and voice. At 24, he self-released his hit song Me Rehúso, which currently has over 1.2 billion streams.
In 2017, he signed with Atlantic Records and released other popular songs such as Dembow and Vuelve. These songs formed his first studio album, 54+1 (2019). Ocean has also collaborated with top artists such as Anuel AA, J Balvin, Maluma and has been the composer of hits such as Ay Dios Mío by Karol G. Before his second album, Danny Ocean took a turn with his creative direction which resulted in the release of @dannocean (2022), featuring songs like Apartamento and Fuera del Mercado. His second album was a huge success, and he became RIAA Platinum Award certified.
Danny Ocean has now toured all over Latin America and has played at festivals such as Lollapalooza. He is currently one of the most popular Latin artists with several billion views across streaming platforms.
