Join The Arts Foundation Te Tumu Toi and Hummingbird Coffee as we honour eight new Laureates who are shaping our country with their creativity and vision.
This is the one night of the year our creative community comes together in full force. Expect kai and libations from some of the best local names, powerful performances, and the big reveal of this year’s most outstanding artists across all art forms – the 2026 Arts Foundation Te Tumu Toi Laureates.

He tīwhiri mō te rohe
Check out the sculpture of celebrated Kiwi opera singer Dame Kiri Te Kanawa which sits on Level 3 of the Aotea Centre. It was created by local artist Terry Stringer and unveiled by Dame Kiri Te Kanawa herself when the auditorium was named in her honour in 2019.

The Aotea Centre is a short walk up Queen Street from Waitematā Station, and the Civic car park is conveniently located beside the venue if you’re driving.
