This year, the Auckland Symphony Orchestra takes the stage with supreme soloists, a full pipe band, and the Harbour Voices’ choir to perform all the classics you know and love; from ‘Jerusalem’ to ‘You’ll Never Walk Alone,’ and with a truly special premiere performance of God Save the King! The Last Night of the Proms tradition is deep seated in the ASO calendar.
Led by our maestro Emma Featherstone, expect an extravagant, passionate and patriotic atmosphere created by over 100 performers and the energy of you, our zealous audience.
So grab your flag, your tweed suit, and your tea towel from Charles’ wedding, and join us for all the musical fanfare!

Local tip He tīwhiri mō te rohe
Leave plenty of spare time in case there’s traffic on the motorway or around the Takapuna village. Even better – get dinner or a pre-show drink nearby so you can soak up the bustling beachfront vibe.
