So… Where Were We?” has all the elements of the shows that made Dara one of the leading international stand-ups. Beautifully crafted routines, hundreds of funny lines and, of course, his trademark lightning-fast improvisational crowd-work.
At its heart, though, is a story which is touching, moving and hilarious about the revelation of a huge family secret and the search for his origins. It’s the richest and most affecting show he has ever done, as well as being full of the guaranteed belly-laughs with which he has made his name.
Dara Ó Briain has been one Ireland’s finest comedy exports for more than 20 years. Among his many television credits, he hosted BBC’s Mock The Week for 17 years, and the Irish version of The PANEL on RTE. He is also the greatest points scorer in the history of Channel 4’s Taskmaster.
He has performed his award-winning shows all over the world, including sell out tours of Australia in 2017 and 2019, and in New Zealand in 2019.
Hurry, this will sell out.

Local tip He tīwhiri mō te rohe
Leave plenty of spare time in case there’s traffic on the motorway or around the Takapuna village. Even better – get dinner or a pre-show drink nearby so you can soak up the bustling beachfront vibe.
