The Up-Doos – Aria Jones, Esther Stephens and Liv Tennet – have entertained sell-out crowds at events around Auckland and beyond. In 2023, their debut full length show “He’s A Rebel” opened to rave reviews at the Tauranga Arts Festival, and most recently they supported Tami Neilson and 1960’s icon Dinah Lee during Tami’s Rock n’ Roll Revue at The Civic.
Individually these performers share a wealth of singing, acting and dance experience. With big hair and bigger harmonies, The Up-Doos breathe new life into vintage classics, with their repertoire of sugar-sweet love songs, odes to beautiful bad boys, teenage heartbreak ballads and full-on girl-power anthems.
This performance is part of the Auckland Live Morning Melodies 2024 season.
In its 23rd year, this much-loved monthly concert series features a fantastic line-up of brass bands, jazz ensembles, and more. Arrive early and connect with friends new and old over complimentary tea and biscuits before the show.

Leave plenty of spare time in case there’s traffic on the motorway or around the Takapuna village. Even better – get dinner or a pre-show drink nearby so you can soak up the bustling beachfront vibe.
