Muriwai is a 40-minute drive from the city centre, and most easily accessible by car. If the Muriwai Car Park is full, you can find additional parking at Village Green and Five Mile Strip.

Stay safe! Only swim between the patrolled flags at Muriwai Beach. Like many beaches on the West Coast, this wild coastal environment can see strong rip currents and large waves.
