Tūrongo Collective offers a grounded space for cultural connection, wellbeing and learning, shaped by indigenous practice, storytelling, ceremony and holistic support. Led by Milly and Te Wehi Kore Karena Grant-Koria, the collective brings together knowledge, movement and wairua with a strong sense of whakapapa and purpose.
Through workshops, mentoring, cultural activations, wellness sessions and Māori cultural experiences, you’ll find work shaped around connection, voice, memory and ancestral knowledge. Their offerings span youth and whānau support, Māori weaponry, poi, waiata, performance, spiritual healing and group cultural facilitation, with experiences tailored to the people and kaupapa in front of them.
Tūrongo Collective is especially suited to visitors, groups, organisations and communities looking for a deeper, more embodied encounter with Māori and Moana Nui a Kiwa knowledge systems. Whether you are joining a workshop, booking a cultural experience or engaging with their work through Te Whānau Āio, the focus is on meaningful participation rather than passive observation.
