Set on 18 acres of native New Zealand bush with a sealed driveway, flat lawn, established garden and fruit trees, this island haven offers privacy while being only minutes away from Waiheke's restaurants, cafes, beaches, sports park and vineyards. The amazing Ecozip, the Batch and Peacock Sky vineyard / restaurants are nearby. The Lodge is adjacent to the Whakanewha Regional Park with bush walks to the beach. Whakanewha is Maori meaning "to shade the eyes from the setting sun" when you have seen the fabulous sunsets from The Lodge, you will see how the park got its name.
