This year we’ve extended the festival to get you celebrating Pasifika more than ever before. Get a run up to the festivities with the Pasifika Village Games on Saturday 4 March, then chill out with great tunes at the Sunday Soul Session on Sunday 12 March.
Once Pasifika Festival weekend arrives, explore 8 villages representing the unique culture, food, and people of 11 Pacific Island nations.

30 Years of Pasifika Festival
Pasifika Festival is one of the longest standing cultural festivals in Tāmaki Makaurau Auckland, and in 2022 it celebrates its 30th anniversary.
Reimagined for the current Covid-19 environment as Taste of Pasifika, this year the festival features Pasifika Festival favourites and highlights alongside new hybrid events taking place at various Auckland locations.
