Pasifika Festival is one of the largest Pacific cultural festivals in the world, celebrating the cultures, languages and traditions of Pacific communities in Auckland.

Pasifika Festival takes place each year in March at Western Springs Lakeside Park in Auckland, bringing together Pacific communities through performances, food and cultural experiences.

Pasifika Festival is unique for its village concept, where each Pacific nation showcases its culture, traditions, performances and food in dedicated spaces across the festival.

Pasifika Festival features eight cultural villages representing Pacific communities: Cook Islands, Niue, Aotearoa, Samoa, Tuvalu, Fiji, Tonga, and Fale Pasifika, which celebrates the cultures of Kiribati, Tokelau, Hawai‘i and Tahiti.

Pasifika Festival performances include traditional Pacific dance, live music, cultural storytelling and contemporary Pacific artists performing across the festival stages.

Visitors can enjoy authentic Pacific cuisine across the festival villages, with dishes representing cultures from across the Pacific Islands.
