Pasifika Festival is Auckland’s largest Pacific cultural festival, celebrating Pacific culture, food, music, performance and community at Western Springs Park. Pasifika Festival returns 13 and 14 March 2027.

Getting there Te huarahi ki reira

Western Springs Park is accessible by car, bike, bus or on foot. Bus routes 11T, 11W and 18 stop on Great North Road, a short walk from the park. Parking is available nearby but can fill quickly on busy days. Plan your transport.

Local tip He tīwhiri mō te rohe

Follow the 1.75km lake loop, bring a picnic and enjoy the park’s birdlife but please don’t feed the birds. Auckland Zoo and MOTAT are also nearby.

Accessibility Huarahi ngāwari

Many paths around Western Springs Park are paved, although some areas are naturally uneven or sloped. Toilets and changing facilities are available within the park.

Music, Arts & Performances

Enjoy show-stopping performances across all eight stages of Pasifika Festival. Talented performers from across the Pacific will be sharing immersive fresh beats as well as all the old favourites to sing and dance along to.
Food and Crafts

Explore, taste and shop at over 100 delicious local food and independent craft stalls at Pasifika Festival. From 'otai to Hāngī, seek out your favourite kai and shop for traditional taongas whilst taking a break from the action-packed stage programme.

Head to MOTAT, next door to Western Springs, for Pasifika Vibes! This FREE programme celebrates Pacific culture with interactive games, workshops (like coconut shaving!), ukelele lessons, films, performances, and more!
