You don’t need to go far to experience island life in the Pacific, at the 2018 Pasifika Festival.

Two days, 11 islands, and an island hop away from a gourmet selection of Pasifika favourites including Hawaii’s smoky barbecue, the Samoan delicacy Palusami (best eaten with a nice piece of baked taro) or visit the village of Tokelau for a tasty traditional fish dish.

Get with the island beat and be entertained by some of Pasifika’s best. Immerse yourself in our Māori culture on the Aotearoa stage or be awe-struck by the Cook Island drummers on one of the 11 stages at Western Springs Park.

This family-friendly, free event is a great way to experience the diverse cultures of our Pacific whanau. Pack a picnic rug, slip on your jandals, and get ready to celebrate Auckland’s rich Pacific culture and heritage.

Stallholder applications for 2018 are now open; applications close Friday 12 January 2018. Find out more or apply now.
