Perform at Pasifika Festival 2027

The Pasifika Festival 2027 will be held on Saturday, 13 March and Sunday, 14 March at Western Springs Park, Auckland.
As part of the festival programme, we are seeking expressions of interest from performers and performance groups to take part in Pasifika Festival 2027.
Pasifika Festival celebrates the richness, diversity and vibrancy of Pacific cultures through music, dance, storytelling and artistic expression. We welcome applications from performers representing Pacific communities and cultures from across Aotearoa New Zealand.
Preferred performance genres and styles
It is important that Pasifika Festival presents a wide range of performance genres and styles that reflect the diversity of Pacific cultures and communities. As such, we will carefully review all applications. However, we are particularly interested in applicants representing a variety of traditional and contemporary Pacific performance genres and artistic practices.

Pasifika Festival 2026 highlight · Samoan Stage
Samoan artist Mr Tee brought his signature sound and uplifting stage presence to Pasifika Festival. His set featured smooth rhythms and popular songs including Pitonu'u Solosolo, Beautiful Samoa and Baby Nofo Mai.

Jordyn with a Why
Pasifika Festival 2026 highlight · Aotearoa Stage
Māori–Samoan neo-soul artist Jordyn with a Why brought rich vocals and heartfelt songwriting to the Aotearoa Stage. Her performance blended R&B and soul with bilingual storytelling, including songs such as Brown Melodies and Te Ao Mārama.

Aro – Live Performance

Pukekohe-based duo Charles and Emily Looker, known together as Aro, shared their distinctive blend of jazz, folk and soul at Pasifika Festival. Their bilingual waiata explore themes including kaitiakitanga, manaakitanga and connection to the natural world.

Anuanua Dance Troupe shared Cook Islands dance and drumming at Pasifika Festival, bringing movement, rhythm and a strong sense of connection to the Cook Islands Stage.
Pasifika Village Stages
Performances take place across the festival’s cultural villages, each representing Pacific nations including Samoa, Tonga, Fiji and the Cook Islands. Each village stage hosts traditional and contemporary performances throughout the day.
