The Black Knights are back at Go Media Stadium, with Auckland FC opening their 2026/27 home campaign against Melbourne City.
Get behind Auckland as they begin another season of A-League football in front of the home crowd. With Melbourne City providing the first test of the new campaign, expect a competitive clash and plenty of matchday atmosphere in Penrose.
Kick-off is at 5pm on Saturday 17 October, with single-match tickets available through Ticketmaster.

When big events are on at the stadium, the surrounding streets can become heavy with traffic. If you’re arranging to be picked up or dropped off, it’s best to identify a meeting point a few blocks away from the main entrances.

Go Media Stadium is a 10-15 minute walk from Penrose train station which is on the Onehunga and Southern Line. It’s easily accessible from the motorway and is about 15 minutes drive from the central city.
