Auckland FC welcome Wellington Phoenix back to Go Media Stadium for the second home derby of the 2026/27 A-League season.
One of New Zealand football’s biggest rivalries returns to Penrose, with the Black Knights and Phoenix set for another high-intensity clash in front of a passionate home crowd. Auckland FC’s previous home derbies have produced sell-out crowds and some of the club’s biggest matchday moments.
Kick-off is at 5pm on Saturday 13 February 2027, making it one of the standout fixtures on Auckland’s summer sporting calendar.

When big events are on at the stadium, the surrounding streets can become heavy with traffic. If you’re arranging to be picked up or dropped off, it’s best to identify a meeting point a few blocks away from the main entrances.

Go Media Stadium is a 10-15 minute walk from Penrose train station which is on the Onehunga and Southern Line. It’s easily accessible from the motorway and is about 15 minutes drive from the central city.
