Featuring the return of the Ellerslie Punter of the Year competition, alongside an unmissable afternoon of racing at Ellerslie with Al Basti Equiworld Dubai NZ Oaks (G1), Sport Nation Otaki Maori WFA Classic (G1), Eagle Tech Avondale Guineas (G2), Eagle Tech Avondale Cup (G3) and Eagle Tech Uncle Remus Stakes, the path will be paved to Champions Day.

Younger family members will be entertained with free entertainment and there’s plenty of outdoor lawn space to spread out and make a day of it.
General Admission is free—no ticket required. Tickets are required for all other areas.
Getting there

You can take the train to Greenlane station or take one of many bus routes and walk 15 mins to the venue. There is free parking available on site for race days but you must enter via 16 Derby Downs Place, drive through the tunnel and continue on the road until you reach the carpark that is located within the racecourse infield.
