Arrive 30 to 45 minutes early to beat the queues, soak in the 1929 architecture (which features a stunning ceiling designed to look like a twinkling night sky), and get comfortably seated before the doors lock and the show begins

For the Civic: Private vehicles, taxis, and rideshares cannot stop directly in front of the theatre on Wellesley or Queen Streets. Instead, use the drop-off locations on Elliott Street behind Smith & Caughey's or the designated drop-off bays on Level 1 of the Civic Car Park. The closest and most convenient parking option is the Civic Car Park, a large underground facility located right beneath Aotea Square Waitematā (Britomart) Station is a 10-15 minute walk up Queen Street. Take any city bus to the Queen Street or Wellesley Street stops, or use the Te Waihorotiu Station located just a couple of minutes away.
