Plate Up Papakura

Food enthusiasts across the Auckland region are invited to come celebrate two weeks of feature dishes and dining experiences in the heart of Papakura from 15-31 August 2026.

‘Plate Up’ is the first festival of its kind in Papakura, spanning 14 local eateries showcasing a colourful array of local and international cuisine including:

• Turkish
• Japanese
• Vietnamese
• Malaysian
• Nepalese
• Tex-Mex.

Featuring Papakura icons such as:

• Broke Boy Taco
• Viet Soul
• Satay Noodle House
• Red Earth
• The Beer Spot.

The celebration is part of a wider initiative to reinvigorate Papakura’s food scene along Great South Road, targeting diners from surrounding neighbourhoods, Central Auckland and Franklin alike by highlighting the high-calibre hospitality, entertainment, events and cultural touchpoints sitting just on their doorstep.
