This afternoon showcases talented rangatahi performers from the Rangatahi On Stage (ROS) programme, a Youth Arts New Zealand initiative connecting young performers with paid gigs, community events, and creative projects across Aotearoa.
Enjoy live performances from three outstanding young artists: Dominant7, Jackson Wilcox, and Amelie Che, that highlight the depth and diversity of emerging young talent from across Tāmaki Makaurau!
Stay for a performance, enjoy a coffee at Stark's cafe and soak up The Civic's historic atmosphere, while celebrating the creativity and energy of Aotearoa's rangatahi.

About Rangatahi On Stage
Our mission is simple: to empower emerging talent while helping event organisers, venues, and communities discover the next generation of performers.
ROS acts as a bridge, giving rangatahi artists real-world experience on professional stages, and offering event organisers access to passionate, diverse, and well-supported young talent.
Joining Rangatahi On Stage means joining a community of rangatahi creatives gaining real, paid performance experience across Aotearoa. From intimate gigs to large-scale festivals, artists on the ROSter get support, guidance, and opportunities to share their mahi with audiences that value youth creativity.
Through Rangatahi On Stage, YANZ provides a full-scale talent-brokering service for clients and a development platform for artists. We curate authentic, vibrant performances that bring energy and connection to public spaces, festivals, and private events alike. Our team manages the full process, from artist selection and liaison to logistics and gear hire, ensuring a seamless experience for both artists and clients.
By booking through ROS, event organisers directly support paid work for youth creatives, building confidence, professional skills, and visibility for Aotearoa's next generation of talent.

Head to Stark’s Café and Bar for a pre-show cocktail, beer or wine. It opens 90 minutes before any show or event at The Civic.

By car, head to The Civic car park near Queen Street where you’ll find plenty of affordable paid parking. By train, head to Waitematā Station and walk up Queen Street for around 10 minutes to reach The Civic. Alternatively, take a bus to the Queen Street or Wellesley Street bus stops, which are both within a short walking distance.
