We provide delicious ramen to New Zealand, using original ingredients on top of the basics. Born in Japan, our owner-chef, Masanori has dedicated almost 30 years to the art of ramen. After honing his skills in Japan for 14 years, he moved to New Zealand in 2011 and joined Tanpopo. In 2021, he proudly took over the restaurant, continuing its tradition with his own experience, passion and dedication to authentic ramen. We've grown into a ramen shop with not just Japanese, but many New Zealander, Chinese, Korean and other fans!
We want to show New Zealand what real Japanese ramen is, and make ramen that satisfies even the Japanese who have lived in New Zealand for many years!! We now have quite a lot of kiwi customers.
