Located in the heart of Franklin district, Pukekohe and Bombay have plenty of attractions for you to choose from.

If you like a good scare, check out Spookers – navigate through a freaky forest, haunted house and corn field while being chased by chainsaw-wielding zombies and hungry monsters. There’s more adrenaline at Pukekohe Park Raceway, especially when the ITM Auckland SuperSprint (formerly V8 Supercars) come to tear up the tracks each November.

For a more relaxed pace, look for handmade jewellery, traditional bone carvings and fresh produce at Franklin Market or play at one of the best parklands-style golf courses in Auckland.

If you’re with kids, check out Glenbrook Vintage Railway. Ride the heritage steam train through rolling countryside and the harbour town of Waiuku, soak up the vintage vibe at Glenbrook Station, and have lunch in the shady picnic and play area.

Bombay

Indulge at New Zealand's largest olive estate, with an excellent restaurant, fine wines to match and award-winning olive oil and skin care products available to take home.

On the flipside, get a feel for farm life at one of our boutique farmstays. Wander through the fields, pet and feed the animals, and tuck into a cooked breakfast with eggs fresh from the coop.

There’s also a great walk through some of the local farmland on the Mount William Walkway. From the summit (369 metres up) the views stretch in either direction from the west coast to the Firth of Thames – take it from us, that’s a long way.
