Set beside the beautiful Matakana River, where freshwater meets the sea, this event embraces the themes of reflection, renewal and connection.
Led by Ngāti Manuhiri Settlement Trust, the day will feature powerful Māori performances, live music, interactive activities and storytelling. Enjoy incredible kai, engage with local artists and bring the tamariki for fun-filled whānau experiences like face painting.
In partnership with Friends of Awa Matakanakana (FOAM), we’ll also reflect on our connection to the river, ocean and the stars of Matariki.
