A brand-new indoor light festival is set to light up Auckland this April.
For 10 days only, Dreamer transforms the spectacular new New Zealand International Convention Centre (NZICC) into a glowing, interactive world of colour, light and sound - right in the heart of the city.

Running Friday 3 – Sunday 12 April 2026, Dreamer invites you to wander at your own pace through large-scale light installations and interactive moments designed to spark curiosity and imagination. Set inside the vast Ariki Hall (roughly the size of Eden Park’s pitch), expect pathways of illumination, playful spaces, and environments created for wonder, creativity and magical shared experiences.

Designed with families front of mind, Dreamer is fully indoors, open all day, and perfectly timed for the school holidays - meaning no late nights or weather worries. Just colour, creativity and time to explore together.
Whether you’re planning a family day out, meeting friends in the city, or looking for something a little different, Dreamer promises a shared experience filled with colour, creativity and wonder.
