John Craigie | I Swam Here Tour

Following his first New Zealand shows in 2025, Craigie returns with his latest album, I Swam Here, out now on Zabriskie Point Records. Written and produced by Craigie, the album was recorded between New Orleans and Astoria, Oregon, bringing together the musical spirit of the Gulf Coast with the quieter sounds of the Pacific Northwest.

For more than a decade, Craigie has built a devoted following through his warm, sharply observed songwriting and live shows that pair music with humour and storytelling. His touring has taken him across the U.S., Europe and Australia, with appearances at Newport Folk, Pickathon, Edmonton Folk Festival and High Sierra, and performances alongside artists including Gregory Alan Isakov, Sierra Hull, Brett Dennen and Jack Johnson.

I Swam Here follows 2024’s Pagan Church, Craigie’s collaboration with TK & The Holy Know-Nothings, which spent six weeks at #1 on the Americana Albums chart. Expansive yet intimate, the new record marks another chapter for Craigie while retaining the sincerity and conversational songwriting that have become central to his work.
