Over the past three years, life and the business side of the industry began to overshadow that passion. It wasn’t until a conversation with a close friend and taking a hard look at the moments he felt happiest in his music journey, that everything reset. Beyond the accolades and milestones, it all pointed back to the foundations, with the boys he grew up with, freestyling and writing raps in the carport. That reflection brought him back to a time where there was no pressure, just the freedom of creating for the love of it.
BRON is the result of that return to foundation. Stripped back and grounded in the essence of what started it all, the album sees MELODOWNZ reconnect with his roots, creating freely without pressure or overthinking. Collaborating with longtime friend and producer Tony Douglas, YGB teammate Haz Beats, and producer Ghos, the project is executive produced by MELODOWNZ and Tony Douglas.
More than just a body of work, BRON is his most authentic release to date a reflection of growth not only as an artist, but as a man. The title itself marks a shift, introducing Bronson beyond the music, offering listeners a deeper look into the person behind the artist.
