Auckland is hosting the FIH Hockey Women's Nations Cup 2025–26 this June, and it's shaping up to be one of the most exciting sporting events to land on New Zealand soil in years. Eight of the world's best women's hockey nations will go head-to-head across 20 matches of non-stop international hockey at the North Harbour National Hockey Centre — right here in our backyard. And the whole thing is broadcast live on TVNZ+, so the country will be watching.
Our Vantage Black Sticks Women go in as reigning champions, defending their title on home turf for the first time since New Zealand hosted a major international hockey event back in 2017. This is a rare and special moment — not just for hockey, but for women's sport in Aotearoa. Come and be part of it. Tickets are on sale now at hockeynz.co.nz/fih-nations-cup
