Spring is officially here, and at Auckland Live we’re celebrating in style. Throughout the October school holidays, Aotea Square will be transformed into a performance space for all to explore (big kids included!)
Have you been inspired by some of the breakdancing at the Olympics? Well, show us what you’ve got on the Dance-O-Mat, turn on your favourite song and let loose with some sweet moves! Plus, check out the schedule of free dance workshops for every skill level ranging from K-Pop to Line Dancing and across a variety of seven other diverse genres.
For those wanting to enjoy the beautiful spring nights under the stars, check out the art installation Full Spectrum. Make sure you get a stunning selfie for social media next to these beautiful rainbow sculptures! And for those wanting something a bit different on their spring nights, cha cha cha over to our Late Night Latin Dancing...
Refuel at Container in the Square Café
After all that dancing, make sure you give yourself a chance to refuel at Container in the Square Café! Check out the opening times:
Thurs (10 Oct) – Late Night Art: Open till 9pm
Fri (4 & 11 Oct): Open till 5pm
Sat & Sun (28 & 29 Sep, 5 & 6 Oct, 12 & 13 Oct): Open 12pm - 5pm
All this and more at Spring in Aotea Square!
