This summer Stand Up Stand Out (SUSO) is taking over Aotea Square for an afternoon of incredible live music featuring some of the best up and coming musicians in Tāmaki Makaurau - a stunning line-up of SUSO 2023 participants and a host of past alumni.

Get ready for some fun in the sun because your favourite summer hang-out is set to return this February! Join Auckland Live in the iconic Aotea Square for four action-packed weekends filled with FREE summer entertainment. First up, help bring a giant two-storey high puppet to life with String Symphony (1 – 6 Feb), explore lively music, diverse culture, and delicious food at AfroFest (10 Feb), catch some of the musicians of Stand Up Stand Out (SUSO) in an afternoon of performances (11 Feb), sashay into a 3-day fiesta with the return of the hugely popular Auckland Latin Fiesta (16 – 18 Feb), and then round off the month by joining the epic Auckland Pride March and celebrating the Lunar New Year with the whānau (25 Feb). Auckland Live Summer in the Square will also play host to food trucks, DJs, outdoor films, and more. So, gather your friends and whānau for a scorching good time, because this February, Aotea Square is the place to be!

Aotea Square is located in the city centre, a 15-minute walk from Britomart station. If you're driving, affordable parking can be found in the Civic Car Park, directly beneath the square.
