Franklin Farm – Sunflowers, Butterfly House & Farmyard

Just 30 minutes from Auckland CBD, Franklin Farm offers a unique mix of flowers, butterflies, farm animals and authentic farming experiences.

Open seasonally from December 26 through to February, visitors can enjoy: Millions of blooming sunflowers for photos and picking. New Zealand's largest walk-through Monarch Butterfly House with daily butterfly releases. Flower fields where visitors can fill a bucket with colourful dahlias and zinnias (seasonal and requires booking).

Friendly farm animals interactions including miniature cattle, goats, sheep, rabbits and chickens. Bouncy castles, photo props and fresh farm produce Great coffee, food and plenty of space to relax.
