Getting there Te huarahi ki reira
Maungawhau Station’s main entrance is on Ruru Street, accessible from both Mount Eden Road and New North Road. Nearby buses connect with Mount Eden Village, Dominion Road and surrounding neighbourhoods. The station does not have a commuter car park.

Maungawhau is an interchange for the East West and Onehunga West lines, so check the platform screens and your train’s destination before boarding. Look out for the station’s water wall and volcanic-inspired artwork as you pass through.
Accessibility Huarahi ngāwari
The station provides step-free access, with lifts connecting the Ruru Street entrance and all platforms. Accessible ticket gates, unisex toilets, mobility parking and a pick-up and drop-off area are also available.
