Auckland Hockey Association - Lloyd Elsmore Park
The three-day event will be held at Lloyd Elsmore Park from 19–21 November. The programme will include three matches between New Zealand and India, providing an opportunity for local communities to experience international-level hockey and celebrate the longstanding relationship between the two countries.
The event programme will also include curtain-raiser matches featuring the New Zealand Defence Force against teams to be confirmed, alongside a broader programme of cultural and community activities. The event will bring together elements of both Indian and New Zealand culture, including Kabaddi matches, community activities and opportunities for local participation.
A key focus of the event will be creating a lasting community legacy beyond the international matches. Community activations and cultural activities will provide opportunities for people of all ages and backgrounds to participate, experience Indian and New Zealand sporting traditions, and build connections through sport. The event aims to celebrate the shared history between India and New Zealand while creating an inclusive and accessible experience for the local community.
