Auckland Heritage Festival 2026

Auckland Heritage Festival returns from 26 September to 11 October with Tastes of Tāmaki: A Heritage Feast, a programme exploring the food, people and traditions that have shaped the region.

Discover stories of migration, manaakitanga, innovation and community through talks, tours, exhibitions, performances and family-friendly activities across Auckland. Many events are free or low-cost, making it an easy way to experience the city’s heritage in new and unexpected ways.
