Elite triathlon is back in the heart of downtown Auckland. The Auckland Triathlon Festival is set to deliver a full day of world-class swim, bike and run action, from first-timers to seasoned pros.

The spotlight will shine on the Oceania Para Championships, as Triathlon New Zealand goes all in to qualify athletes for the LA 2028 Paralympic Games. But that’s just the beginning. The festival also features a thrilling Oceania Continental Cup, bringing elite triathletes from across the Tasman and around the globe to compete against New Zealand’s finest, making it a day of racing you won’t want to miss.

For weekend warriors, the festival kicks off with an age-group sprint (750m swim /20km bike / 5km run )designed for every level, offering a truly unique downtown course that the City of Sails hasn’t seen since 2015. And for families and fans, there’s plenty to enjoy beyond the racing—fun, atmosphere, and a celebration of sport in the heart of Auckland.
