Experimental folk collective Heilung returns to Auckland for an extraordinary live performance at Spark Arena on Tuesday 16 March 2027, bringing their distinctive blend of music, theatre and ancient ritual to the stage.
Known for their self-described 'amplified history', Heilung draws inspiration from early civilisations, combining traditional instruments, throat singing, hypnotic percussion and atmospheric vocals. Elaborate costumes, ceremonial movements and striking visuals transform their performances into immersive experiences that transport audiences beyond the modern world.
Led by founding members Kai Uwe Faust, Maria Franz and Christopher Juul, the collective has captivated audiences worldwide with its unconventional approach to live music.
Joining Heilung is special guest Lilith Max, a German-American singer-songwriter whose music draws on dark folklore, mythology and fantasy.
