Toi art carving workshop (Waka hourua): Thursday, 9 July, 11am–1pm.
Join carver and artist Calvin Devine (Ngāpuhi) for a hands-on, 2-hour whakairo workshop. Create your own waka hourua (double hulled canoe) while learning how Māori navigators used the stars and traditional knowledge to cross the Pacific.
Ages 5+ (parent supervision required for under 10s). Limited spaces available, Bookings required
