From 12 September to 11 October, guests can dive into a conservation adventure, with young explorers challenged to complete a series of missions, uncover ocean secrets and discover how small actions can make a big splash when it comes to protecting marine life.
Armed with their very own activity trail, recruits will journey through five interactive zones, putting their ocean knowledge to the test. They’ll get to know which shark survivors need a helping fin, follow the Turtle Trail to uncover ways to protect these ancient ocean travellers, bring Colourful Coral to life, go on a Seahorse Seek and Save mission and crack the clues in Find Five in Freshwater.
Each challenge has been designed to make conservation fun, helping young explorers understand some of the very real challenges facing marine life while showing them that becoming an ocean hero doesn’t require a cape, just a few good habits and a willingness to make a difference.
No official rescue mission is complete without proof. Families can capture their ocean-hero moment with a Rescue Squad photo opportunity, before making their very own pledge to help keep the ocean and its inhabitants safe.
Once the mission is complete, successful recruits will officially become Sea Creature Rescue Squad members, receiving their very own Squad Pack, complete with a certificate of completion, an ocean-themed colouring sheet and stickers.
