2026’s Auckland regional event runs over 3 days (7-9 September) in the Auckland Town Hall, encompassing a massed singing day, and two days of competition for those choirs choosing to compete.
Here is your chance to hear more than 3,000 of NZ’s musicians of the future, from over 50 schools, performing a wide variety of musical styles over multiple genres, including Maori, Pasifika, New Zealand, international folk music, popular and many others. Attend daytime sessions commencing 9am, (payment at door) and evening Gala Concerts (pre-booking essential) at 6.30pm from Monday 7 – Wednesday 9 September.

Auckland Town Hall sits on Queen Street opposite Aotea Square. Te Waihorotiu Station is around a 2-minute walk away, while Waitematā Station and the ferry terminal are around a 17–20 minute walk down Queen Street. Frequent bus services stop nearby, and The Civic Car Park provides convenient parking close to the venue.
